Mark, try reading what I wrote, not what you want to believe.

I didn't equate the use of those phrases, I equated the hatred behind those words and showed (with video) exactly how bitter the venom on the left is towards a group of citizens who protest governement.

I pointed out the irony of those who want to split hairs when a politician says "makaka" (George Allen) or other forbidden phrases of insult, but feel perfectly comfortable issuing a few verbal beat-downs of their own.

And your above comments about me, misleading and un-true, do nothing but incite rage...more subtle, but no less effective. Racism is dying, no longer deeply rooted, just a convenient mis-truth the Democrats need to win elections. Kinda like global warming fraud, without it Democrats have nothing to offer. They need those votes, they need to continue perpetuating the illusion.

If you knew me one ioda, you'd realize suggesting I'm "insensitive" is nothing but a baseless charge. After all, I am the one rooting for a victory by a man in Abington's Ward 5 who was targeted by the intolerant Democrat-supported LGBT community.

Nope, I am not personally offended when someone calls me names. In fact, I relish the fact that some would sink to that level. It shows I'm winning the small battles, hence my affinity to use those words myself. Those who use the phrase to insult, mock, and ridicule do so because they are losing the argument and have nothing else productive to say.

But there are others who are extremely offended by the tea-bagging references, women mostly, and name-calling in general.

But let's not forget... it is the Democrat left who has always railed against those who would use words to insult and incite anger and rage. Use of the N-word is almost akin to a capital crime, unless your a person with a darker skin tone than others. Then, usage is acceptable, right??

So yes, this tea-bagging wacko (Mr. Hoeffel) can call himself and his peeps whatever he likes...you - as a distinguished leader of a major political party - on the other hand, may not.

Fact is, the ruling class still has issues with us common folk, no matter how much they claim otherwise. Proof, this Fall's Montco Democrat mockery.

There IS a business method out of debt.

First, you drastically cut costs - such as union contracts with their bloated pension plans, then you sell off revenue-losing assets - such as precious open space, and then you elect controlling members who understand how business operates - not political operatives who only know one game.

As for your comparison of the Harrisburg saga to marriage..."It’s akin to parents paying attention to their kids while their marriage falls apart right in front of their faces." ...I don't see the parallel. Are you suggesting parents dump (or are stripped of) their child-rearing responsibilities because their marriage is in trouble?

The Capital City, like Philadelphia, is a seperate entity from the Pennsylvania House and Senate, who have nothing to do with the fiscal shape of an individual City.

The State didn't cause Harrisburg's debt crisis, but thankfully they can resolve the issue before it drags down the rest of the Commonwealth.

Those who don't like the options currently available to the Capital City should realize who put them in that unenviable position - the Capital City.

    Yep, definitely NOT a dictionary.

Look, Ryan, excuse my condescending tone; we're just being snarky, ok?

However, you do admit there is a line of deviant sexual behavior you will accept and others you won't. Because it's silly to lump them all together, right?

If that's the case, why do you have a problem where Rick and other Christians/Jews/Muslims draw the line? Why is their line - not to mention every other civilization in history where marriage of man and woman was the basis of a strong and stable nation - not acceptable to you?

Put simply, who decides? The 10th Amendment says, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

In other words, the Feds only have power we, the 50 States, give them. It's why you don't go to Washington for a marriage, driving, or hunting licence, you go to your County/State government. Thanks to Interstate Compacts, those licences are honored across state lines. The Feds can't interfere unless a Constitutional Amendment is passed. That was the basis of Santorum's point. It's also why fights for Gay marriage are taking place at State capitals, not D.C..

So where would you like the line drawn? Man on Man, Man on animal, or Man on HBO's "Big Love"?

Tolerence, like hate, has become too easily defined by those with an agenda.

FYI, the initial "birther" (who took the case to court in '08) was a former Montco Democrat chairman, Phillip Berg, not someone from the political right; not Beck, not Limbaugh, not FOX.

Just because FOX News has opinion shows mixed with hard news programming doesn't make it biased. While it may be difficult to watch programming which conflicts with your view of the world, the vast majority of news outlet watchers disagree with your opinion of FOX News; just check the ratings.

No, the people put up the SpreadingSantorum.com site because of their intolerance for Rick Santorum, much like their hatred for anyone who says it is harmful to society when people have unfettered rights to do anything they want, anytime they want.

If you actually read the entire Santorum interview from 2003, he states in the last paragraph that his argument was that it's not the job of the Supreme Court to mandate what laws are acceptable and make them applicable nationwide. Like it or not, we are still 50 individual states; Washington power is only granted IF the states give it to them, not the other way around.

Santorum sited not just homosexual acts, but acts of incest, beastiality, and polygamy. All of these, if allowed, contribute to a degradation of the family unit. Societal evolution has determined that reality, not a homophobic Rick Santorum.

Finally, Birthers and Secret Muslim are not examples which prove your point. But, thanks for playing.

Point to an example of the right doing what "SpreadingSantorum.com" does with a simple search of a name and I'll buy your 'everyone else does it' logic.

By the way, the above site's content doesn't match the text found in the serch results show. hmmmmm?
The only content actually on the page is a slang term proposed by those who HATE the former Senator for having an opinion different from their own.

Since you like links - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santorum_(neologism)

So is only liberal/progressive/leftist opinion allowed OR are we a diverse nation where all opinions are?

Your piece wished to enlighten readers by in essence saying, 'see what others think about him'. If you form opinions this way, you haven't an real argument worth writing about. Otherwise, I suppose, you would.

Hate...and here I thought Abington was trying to ban the practice.

Try a BING search for a less politically motivated look at the world
    http://www.bing.com/search?q=rick+santorum&form=QBRE&qs=n&sk=&sc=8-13

Using meta tags and other search engine related tricks is a well-known tactic of the political left via Google.

For a more "tolerant, open-minded" view of the world, don't just Google. If you can stomach an alternative point of view that is.

    Thanks for the proof Ryan.

    Mr Barbiero, nice try.

First, the video "Abington Votes Down Public Library" mislabeled. It should read "Abington Township Ends Lawsuit to Seize Private Property". That is the discussion being held if you actually listen to the tape. Naming it something which incites emotions with your followers doesn't change the facts.

In a related fact: the GOP would vote in favor of the new library, if PRIVATE funds, not public grant money, were used AND if the location wasn't secured via a hostile government takeover.

Two, Mr. Luker (Democrat) voted against the same ordinance you accuse the "Republican machine" of killing. The anti-discrimination ordinance is a solution looking for a problem. Mr Luker recognizes this detail. Abington residents ARE treated equally and need no "protection" from the ruling class.

Third, name-calling is extremely unprofessional and sophmoric for a man in your position. It's called Tea Party, with an emphasis on Party - a celebration of our great country and all its diverse views, not just hateful, name-calling Democrat ones.

Tea-bagging on the other hand, should be one of the protected practices, if only you leftist rulers could find a way to shove the ordinance down our throats, don't you think??
