VIDEO: Numerous Water Rescues in Widespread Township Flooding
Emergency responders are responding to multiple calls around the township.
Kyle Bagenstose, Editor of Upper Dublin Patch is writing this report for both Upper Dublin and Abington Townships, as Abington Editor Mischa Arnosky unfortunately reports from the field, as his car became stuck in flooding in Upper Dublin Township. Friday evening's thunderstorms have taken their toll on Upper Dublin, Abington, and surrounding areas, as widespread flooding has turned local roads into a map of water rescues and hazardous roads. An Upper Dublin police officer in the department's communications room said that they were being overwhelmed with calls from around the township reporting flooding.
