Abington Commissioners Commend Willow Hill
Willow Hill's student council made Old Welsh Road safer for birds last month.
Abington Commissioner Wayne Luker presented Willow Hill Elementary School Principal Damon Jordan and members of the school’s student council with a commendation during the Thursday board of commissioners meeting. Luker thanked the student council for its help in putting up goose-crossing signs on Old Welsh Road last month. See the Patch story and photos here. Luker and Abington Board of Commissioners President Carol DiJoseph both said jokingly that it looked like Jordan had brought the whole school to the meeting.
