'Pilot-ing' Through Walgreens
Driver error likely caused the crash at Walgreens on The Fairway.
No one was seriously injured in a crash at Walgreens on The Fairway last week. It wasn’t a crash near the pharmacy in the corner of Old York Road and The Fairway, it was a crash into the store. According to an Abington Police incident report, a Jenkintown woman driving a black Honda Pilot crashed into the glass door entrance of the pharmacy on Aug. 21 at about 9:15 p.m. When police arrived, the Pilot was completely in the store — near aisles three and four. The driver’s sister was sitting in the passenger seat at the time of the crash.
