Trish Watson claimed the school's all-time scoring record last weekend.
Trish Watson, of Bensalem, was chosen as the NEAC Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week after putting together a stellar performance for Penn State Abington. Watson, a senior for the Penn State Abington Nittany Lions, became the program’s all-time scoring leader this past weekend while also guiding her team to a pair of conference victories with two-game averages of 20.5 points, 8 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2 steals. Watson claimed Abington’s all-time scoring mark seven minutes into the second half of the Nittany Lions’ victory over SUNY Cobleskill Saturday, scoring on a fast-break layup to give her 1,159 career points and the prestigious record.
