Which bar won the weekly poll?
It looks like there’s some love for the Drake. Drake Tavern, on Old York Road in Jenkintown, won this week’s Patch Readers’ Choice Poll for best place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day/grab a green beer. The bar took 45 percent of the vote; the runner up was Keswick Tavern, which garnered 26 percent of the vote. Hopefully there will be some nice weather on Saturday so people can take advantage of that outside bar area. Congratulations to the Drake. -- Next week we’ll be looking for the best park in Abington.

Who won the weekly poll?
After a staggering 130-plus votes, Keswick Coffee House, at 285 North Keswick Avenue, in Glenside, won Abington Patch’s “Best Of” poll for coffee shops. Keswick Coffee House grabbed 39 votes, (29 percent) and edged out Elcy’s Café by a mere three votes. Congrats to Keswick Coffee House, and thanks to all who voted. The business will receive a fancy Patch "Best Of" certificate (not super fancy) and a visit from the township's biggest consumer of coffee, me.
