Stephen J. Racik, of Jenkintown, was arrested and charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition.
A 55-year-old Jenkintown man showed off his privates at a carnival in Florida— and was subsequently shown the inside of a jail cell. Stephen J. Racik drove by a parking lot carnival at the Wiregrass Mall in Wesley Chapel, Fla. late on April 5, according to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office complaint affidavit. Racik stopped his vehicle near minors and then “arched his back, exposed his penis … and began to shake it before driving off," the affidavit said. The minors, who were only described as “under the age of fourteen,” immediately alerted authorities. Racik was found, arrested and charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious exhibition. The White House released the College Scorecard, with looks at loan repayment, costs, graduation rates and more of the nations colleges, including Manor College, Arcadia University, Penn State Abington and more.
After President Barack Obama's State of the Union Address in February, the White House has released the College Scorecard. According to the WhiteHouse.gov website, "College Scorecards in the U.S. Department of Education’s College Affordability and Transparency Center make it easier for you to search for a college that is a good fit for you." -- The average student at Arcadia University pays $24,200 a year, after grants and scholarships. A decrease of 2 percent from the institution’s 2007 to 2009 tuition costs. Families typically borrow $22,600 in Federal student loans for undergraduate study, and make payments of $260 a month over 10 years. As viewers make the popcorn and snuggle up on the couch, Bradley Cooper is likely checking his tux, checking the limo times and stretching for a long walk down the red carpet. The Oscars are this Sunday. The awards will air at 7 p.m. Sunday on ABC. Up for best actor is the Montgomery County-born and -raised Bradley Cooper. His work in "Silver Linings Playbook" has helped to net the flick eight nominees including best actor, best actress (his co-star Jennifer Lawrence), best picture and best director (David O. Russell). A Maple Glen resident has filed a civil action against his former employer.
A Maple Glen man claims that his Jenkintown employer fired him for his previous involvement in two lawsuits against the company. The Pennsylvania Record reports that Gerald Creed, 61, filed a complaint with the federal courthouse in Philadelphia stating that he was fired from his human resources job at SPS Technologies in Jenkintown because he was "'associated' with two cases in which civil litigation was initiated against the company." He had worked for the company since 1978. In the complaint, Creed claims that at no time did the company "ever advise Creed that the manner in which he handled any issue pertaining to the employees in the other two cases was deficient."
