Abington Fire Fighter Dies
The Weldon Fire Co. fire fighter died following an injury he suffered last month.
Abington Fire Marshal Ken Clark said today that Weldon Fire Fighter David Kelble Jr. died yesterday following an injury he suffered Nov. 21 in Lower Southampton. Kelble, of Glenside, was 32. He leaves behind his wife Jacqueline and two children, a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. According to Clark, Kelble was working at his regular job, with a tree company, when he suffered a traumatic head injury. He was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County and died Sunday. “Evidently he was dispatched to Lower Southampton where there was a tree leaning against another tree.
