New Trash Pickup and ‘Into the Woods,’ This Week

Starting Monday, Abington Township will begin a new 5-day-a-week trash pickup program. Under the new plan, residents will have trash, paper, recyclables and yard waste picked up on the same day — their neighborhood’s designated trash day. Click here for more information. -- Arcadia University will hold its community flea market on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at parking lot 12 off of Church Road. A two-parking-space rental can be had for $20. Proceeds will benefit student-run community service projects.
