Disorderly conduct … Jeremy Lorenzon, 29, of Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia; and Steven Moulder, 26, of Mt. Man Allegedly Throws Weed at Cop, and More Police Reports

A Philly man is arrested on drug charges and more Abington Police reports

Possession of a controlled substance … Richard George Liggins, 44, of West Huntingdon Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Feb. 6 at 9:27 p.m. following a traffic stop for a malfunctioning brake light near the corner of Moreland and Davisville roads in which he was a passenger, police said. When police made contact with Liggins, he allegedly removed a small amount of suspected marijuana from his pants and threw it out the window at the officer’s feet. When asked what he did, Liggins said, “[Expletive], I can’t believe I just threw weed at the cops.” When asked if he had any more contraband, Liggins allegedly said, “I got a little rock down my pants,” and police retrieved a small clear bag of confirmed crack. Police Reports: Two DUI Arrests

Abington Police arrested the following people for suspected DUI.

  Graham Sebastien Skelly, 19, of Blake Avenue, Rockledge, was arrested Feb. 3 at 5:31 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 500 block of Susquehanna Road, police said. According to police, Skelly said he was lost and was looking for Huntingdon Pike. Skelly was lethargic and slow to respond, and there was a very strong odor of air freshener in the car, police said. Skelly admitted to smoking marijuana earlier at a friend’s house; Sklley failed several field sobriety tests, had a blood alcohol content of 0.102 percent and his blood tested positive for the presence of marijuana, police said. Public drunkenness Joshua Burkey, 25, of Eckard Avenue, Abington, was issued a non-traffic citation March 8 at 3:39 a.m. after police saw Burkey stumbling while walking along Huntingdon Road near Woodland Road, police said. Emmanuel Alabi, 30, of Meadowbrook Drive, Huntingdon Valley, was arrested March 3 at 2:58 a.m. after police saw Alabi leaning into the back seat of his vehicle, which was parked on the shoulder of the 1900 block of Huntingdon Pike, police said. According to police, Alabi was under the influence of alcohol. Police find a small amount of marijuana and a machete in this week's summary arrests.

Abington Police arrested the following people for disorderly conduct: Nafisa Outlaw, 22, of 16th Street, Philadelphia; and Lawrencette Reed, 18, of Toronto Street, Philadelphia, were arrested Feb. 28 at 6:02 p.m. after a Macy’s loss prevention officer saw both involved in a retail theft, police said.
