Abington Man Pleads Guilty in Murder-for-Hire Case; Not to Murder Charges

Paul Ravi Vangore was arrested in November 2011 for an alleged plot to kidnap and kill a man who was ‘messing around’ with his wife, and two others. Vangore admitted to wanting his wife's lover and two others kidnapped and roughed up, but not murdered.

Paul Ravi Vangore, 48, of the 1400 block of Pepper Road, Rydal, pleaded guilty today to three charges of criminal solicitation to commit kidnapping with intent to inflict injury, according to a Phillyburbs.com story. It was the fourth day of his trial. By doing so, the Montgomery County District Attorney's office agreed not to pursue three charges of criminal solicitation to commit murder.  According to the story, Vangore's attorney Brian McMonagle said, "At no point in time did I ever think he wanted to or was capable of taking a human life here.” Prosecutor Matthew Quigg said, "He will be held accountable for what he did and will be punished.” Vangore could receive 10 to 20 years for each charge, according to the story.
