  Retail theft and disorderly conduct … Nataliya Dendyak, 19, of Erica Street, Philadelphia, was arrested April 30 at 12:30 p.m. in Macy’s after she concealed four items in her purse while in a fitting room, police said. According to police, Dendyak damaged some of the items. The total value was $245. Simple assault and possession of a controlled substance … Richard D. Hood, 32, of Osbourne Avenue, Roslyn, was arrested April 28 at 12:27 a.m. at his residence after he slapped someone one face following an argument, police said.   Simple assault and public drunkenness … Harry Lloyd Wolfgang, 41, of North Hills Avenue, Glenside, was arrested April 21 at 6:50 p.m. after he struck the complainant twice in the side of the head with a closed fist at his residence, police said. According to police, Wolfgang then fled. He was found walking along Mt. Carmel Avenue near Tennis Avenue heavily intoxicated. Six whiskey sours will do that ...

  Possession of an instrument of crime, prohibited offensive weapon and drug possession … Michael Lare, 26, last known address of Danforth Street, Philadelphia, was arrested April 26 at 7:24 p.m. in the 300 block of Shady Lane following a call for a possibly armed man living out of a blue Ford Taurus, police said. According to police, when Lare was asked about having a firearm, he said he did not have one, and gave permission to search his vehicle. In the car, police found 46 assorted loose pills, a switchblade, and several other edged weapons. Police also found at least five small Ziploc bags commonly used to package drugs, three pipes and several straws commonly used to snort drugs. Lare is homeless, police said. DUI and open container…

  Criminal extradition … Stanley Bernard Rogers, 54, of the 100 block of Weaver Street, Philadelphia, was arrested April 14 at 2:29 p.m. near the corner of Township Line and Cardinal roads following a call for a suspicious vehicle, police said. According to police, Rogers said his vehicle overheated and said that he was waiting for it to cool down. Rogers had an active arrest warrant out of Maryland and was detained for extradition. Glenside Man Charged in Pedestrian Death

The Abington man faces DUI, vehicular homicides charges stemming from the Jan. 27 crash that killed Sharon Minnick of Pottstown.

  A 29-year-old Abington man is facing charges of vehicular homicide and DUI in connection with the death of a 50-year-old Pottstown woman. Donald Dinkins III, of Penn Avenue, Glenside, waived his preliminary hearing before District Judge Harry J. Nesbitt Wednesday morning. Dinkins is scheduled to be arraigned in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas on June 6 in connection with a Jan. 27 crash that claimed the life of pedestrian Sharon Ann Minnick.  Speed, alcohol and marijuana are thought to be contributing factors to the Easton Road crash, and subsequently, Minnick's death. Kimberly Lundquist, 30, of the 2400 block of Lafayette Avenue, Abington, was arrested Jan. 30 at 11:04 p.m. following a traffic stop near the corner of Susquehanna Road and Clemens Avenue for suspected speeding, tailgating and for having tinted windows, police said. According to police, Lundquist smelled of alcohol, had glassy and watery eyes and said she had "a few drinks" earlier in the evening while playing pool.   Access device fraud, forgery, identity theft … Charlotta Abbott, 44, no known address, was arrested April 4 following an investigation into two separate wallet thefts in which she racked up more than $5,756 in fraudulent credit card purchases, police said. According to police, Abbott stole a wallet from a purse on June 10 at Levy Medical Plaza in the 1200 block of Old York Road. Abbott then used the stolen credit cards to make a $276 purchase at Giant in the 1400 block of Old York Road; a $1,426 purchase of a watch at Macy’s; a $1,014 gift card purchase at CVS; and a $1,017 gift card purchase at Acme in Jenkintown.   DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and reckless driving … John K. Markman, 50, of the 900 block of Lincoln Woods, Lafayette Hill, was arrested Dec. 3 at 12:08 a.m. following a traffic stop in the corner of North Hills and Spruce avenues after he was seen getting into a vehicle in the 19th Hole Lounge parking lot while visibly intoxicated, police said. According to police, Markman was seen driving in the wrong lane several times. He smelled of alcohol, had glassy eyes and there was a red and black pipe containing confirmed marijuana residue in the cup holder.
