PSU Abington Names New Athletic Director
Shawne McCoy will take over the school’s athletic programs.
Penn State Abington announced earlier today that it has named a new athletic director. Chancellor Karen Wiley Sandler said that Shawne McCoy will be the new director of athletics, intramurals and recreation. McCoy replaces Karen Weaver, who stepped down on Dec. 31 to pursue a faculty post at Drexel University after six years at Penn State Abington. McCoy will officially join Penn State Abington on Feb. 4 and will represent Penn State Abington at the 2013 NCAA Convention from Jan. 16-19.
