St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Glenside was founded in 1881. Our congregation represents a wide range of ages andMore interests, with people from all walks of life. Worship Schedule: Sunday: 8 a.m. Holy Eucharist & 10 a.m. Holy Eucharist (with music) • Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist (with prayers for healing) • Third Thursday each month: 7 p.m. Taizé Prayer (a contemplative service of brief Scripture readings, prayers, chants, and periods of silence.) Sunday Schedule in the Summer • One service on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. (with music) Nursery Care is available during the 10 a.m. service for infants and toddlers. Education Schedule: During the 10 a.m. service: • Children ages 3 through 7 are invited to attend Godly Play in the Godly Play Room. • Children ages 8 through 10 are invited to attend Children’s Worship. • Special Children’s Worship services throughout the year incorporate all our children and invite them to worship with the whole community. Pre-teens and Teens meet after the 10 a.m. service. For Adults: • The Adult Forum offers a variety of programs and topics including current issues. It meets at 9 a.m. in the Parish Hall. • The Lectionary Bible Study meets after the 10 a.m. service (following Fellowship) to engage in study of the Bible, the church, and our lives of faith.
