I really enjoy Specialty Floors. They give you personal service with personal attention you just don't get at other carpet departments in large home stores. I went to several other places and came back to Specialty Floors to purchase. His pricing is good and the guy came out to measure the next day at no charge. All the other stores wanted to charge me extra to measure.

I am very disappointed in my experiece with Specialty Floors. I had used them several times in the past 15 years and was totally satisfied, that is why I went back to them to get carpet installed in my home, along with a tile floor in the entry way. There were issues with the installer basically "calling out" on the day of installation which was a Saturday. Another installer came and they were in a rush. They told us that we would like the tiles better without grout between them and they installed them flush up against each other. They looked cheap and tacky. They also didn't finish the tile job as they said they didn't have all the tools they needed, and left a mess stating that they didn't bring a vacuum. Another person came out to repair the tiles which we asked to have redone because we were so unhappy. It took this person 6 hours to replace a 3X5 section of tile, and when he left it was a huge mess of grout all over the tiles and the woodwork. Also the owner who sold us the carpet never told us that there were different kinds of carpet and that this was a kind that would shed and fuzz up constantly. The carpet NEVER looks clean. It's constantly shedding and fuzzing and I fill my vacuum bag every time I vacuum. I regret my purchase completely and not having a lot of money I feel like I threw away over $2,000. I am very very disappointed.
