  • The Abington School Board will meet Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the school district administration building on Highland Avenue. The draft agenda will likely be made available early Tuesday.

 

  • Good Shepherd Regional Catholic School’s Home and School Association will host its third-annual trivia night on Saturday, Feb. 1 — to cap off Catholic Schools Week. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and is a BYOB; cost is $10. For more information, see this post on Abington Patch.


  • The Mothers’ Circle in Abington will hold an event on Sunday, Feb. 2 about non-Jewish parents raising Jewish children. The event will take place at the Abington YMCA’s learning center room at 10:30 a.m. For more information, click here.

 

  • Briar Bush Nature Center will offer crafts, games, animals programs and snowy activities for children on Groundhog’s Day, Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. The nature center is located at 1212 Edge Hill Road, Abington
