Open Houses and a Trip to See Grace Kelly, This Week

Check out a few events happening this week in Abington.

Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School will hold an open house Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The Abington Township Rockledge Borough Republican Organization, ATRO, will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the North Penn VFW in Glenside.

Plymouth Meeting Friends School will hold an open house Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 9:30 a.m. The school is accepting applications for pre-k through sixth-grade students. For more information, click here.

The school is located at 2150 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting.

Briar Bush Nature Center, as part of its “Great Escape,” will host a trip to see the Grace Kelly exhibit at the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown on Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $25.

The nature center will also hold a 2-part discussion about food and the environment led by Theresa White of Temple University on Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

The Abington School Board will meet Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the school district administration building, 970 Highland Ave., Abington. The agenda will likely be available late Monday.
