Video: 24-Hour Relay Nets $20K for CAPT

Last weekend, 45 teams participated in the Abington 24-Hour Relay Challenge at Memorial Field to benefit the organization Citizens and Police Together.

The 45 teams, comprising about 500 people, most of them students, circled the track for 24 hours in eight hour shifts.

The teams raised about $20,000 for CAPT (Citizens and Police Together); the nonprofit organization helps the Abington Police Department with its community projects.

Two hundred volunteers also helped make sure the event ran smoothly.
