Tuesday, May 20th Pennsylvania Democratic Primary Election Day

It's that time again. Election Day.  Congressional, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Senate, State House of Representatives, Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee, and Local  Democratic Committee Persons names will appear on the Ballot.

It is extremely important that Democratic Voters take this primary election seriously enough to take the time on Tuesday, to go to the polls between 7am and 8pm to cast their votes to determine which candidates will appear on the Ballot in the November General Election.

In a lot of cases, there is not a contested Primary depending on where you vote and the District you're in. However, when it comes to Governor and Lieutenant Governor, there is a CONTESTED Primary. It will determine which Qualified Democratic Candidate for Governor will have the BEST chance of beating Governor Tom Corbett in this Fall's General Election, and which Democratic Lieutenant Governor Candidate will be the BEST Candidate to ensure the BEST TEAM to win next November.

Unfortunately, many Democratic Voters, only come out to vote in the General Elections in November, especially for President.  This year, however, our choice for Governor and Lieutenant Governor will be determined this coming Tuesday.

In regards to Governor,  many Television Commercials have run, and  will be running through election day.  Robo-calls, as well as mailings are going out.  Surprisingly enough, Gov Corbett, who is running unopposed for re-election for Governor as a Republican, is spending a tremendous amount of campaign funds to bash Democratic Candidate Tom Wolf, who is the front runner on the Democratic side by double digits. Apparently Corbett and his advisors feel that he will have a tough time winning re-election if Tom Wolf wins the Democratic Primary and is his opponent in November.

Unfortunately, other Democratic Candidates are also running negative ads and commercials against Tom Wolf due to his lead in the Polls. It is important to look at the Candidate's own credentials and not to negative campaign ads.

In regards to Lieutenant Governor, it is also important to look at that Candidate who not only has the Credentials, but which candidate will best compliment the Gubernatorial Candidate elected in the Primary. Brandon Neuman, not only is an elected Pa. State Representative, but is from the Southwest part of Pennsylvania and geographically will get votes in November to compliment Tom Wolf's hometown in York, Pa which is closer to the Southeast.

In order to win state-wide, candidates need to acquire votes throughout the state and geographical hometowns usually have some say as to which Team can win.

I urge you to take the time this coming Tuesday to VOTE !!!

My personal opinion in reviewing the Qualifications of ALL of the Democratic Candidates is to VOTE for:

TOM WOLF for Governor and BRANDON NEUMAN  for Lieutenant Governor. I hope you will also do the same.
