The new women's basketball head coach is a former player at Philadelphia University.

Penn State Abington on Tuesday announced that it has hired a new women’s basketball head coach.

A native of Wildwood Crest, N.J., Agger most recently served as head coach at John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School in Philadelphia. At Hallahan Catholic, she was involved in scouting, recruiting and player development, as well as fundraising and developing community relations programming. She also worked a number of college and high school basketball camps and training programs in Pennsylvania, including the 76ers Women's Basketball Camp, Caper Tigers Basketball Camp and Nothin' But Net Basketball Camp for the past six years.

A two-time CACC all-conference selection, Agger concluded her career as a Ram with 1,078 points and 405 rebounds. She also ranks fifth all-time in assists (339) and third all-time in steals (226).

A 2007 graduate of Lower Cape May High School, Agger registered 1,001 career points, earned first team all-Cape Atlantic accolades as a senior and was selected to the Al Carino Girls All-Star team. She was also recently inducted into the Lower Cape May Athletic Hall of Fame.

Agger received her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2011 and a master’s degree in business administration in 2012 from Philadelphia University.
