School Board to Discuss Potential Memorial Field Lease
The Abington School Board will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m.; check out the draft agenda.
According to the Abington School Board's draft agenda for the Aug. 14 meeting, superintendent Amy Sichel and assistant superintendent Leigh Altadonna will present an update regarding the renovation project at Memorial Field.
There is an action item on the draft agenda in which the school board could authorize the administration to enter into a 25-year lease agreement for the field with .

"The Administration has worked with the solicitor’s office and Pennsylvania State University, Abington College to develop a mutually acceptable twenty-five-year lease agreement."
