School Board Draft Agenda

The Abington School Board posted its agenda for its April 10 meeting, held tonight at the administration building. 

According to the agenda, the board will honor: Dawn Vozzy, an autistic support teacher at McKinley Elementary School for being selected as one of 23 finalists in the 2012 “Voice of Inspiration for Teaching Excellence” award and 

Molly Cleary, a Rydal Elementary School student, who was named a runner up in the 2012 Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program Youth Poetry Contest for her poem “How Seahorses Were Made.” Molly will be presented with her award at the 14th Annual Montgomery County Poet Laureate Celebration and Readings at Musehouse – the Center for the Literary Arts in Philadelphia.

There will also be an orientation on the school district's special education services and programs.
