Local Students Honored by Colleges

Several students from the area were recognized for high grades or accomplishments by their schools.

Quite a few local students have done well in college this past semester, according to the numerous press releases we receive at Patch! Here is a roundup of the most recent batch of honorees. Congratulations to all of them! 

  • Brittany Lloyd of Abington, PA, a member of the class of 2015 at Washington and Lee University, has earned dean's list status for the recently ended Fall 2012 term.
  • Nicole Musho of Abington, PA, class of 2013, International Studies and Hispanic studies major was recognized for academic excellence and achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the semester at Washington College in Chestertown, MD.
  • Nicole Labovitz of Roslyn, PA, has been honored for academic achievement by being named to the fall 2012 Dean's List at Delaware Valley College.
  • Amy Kummerling of Abington, who is studying nursing at Widener University in Chester, PA, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester.
