Pennsylvania State Representatives Brendan Boyle, D-170, and Madeleine Dean, D-153 on Tuesday presented Abington School District superintendent Amy Sichel with a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania House of Representatives Citation from them, along with State Rep. Todd Stephens, D-151, for being elected the 2013-14 president of the American Association of School Administrators and for her many accomplishments.
An excerpt from the citation:
“The House of Representatives pays tribute to Amy F. Sichel, Ph.D., upon her well-deserved recognition; proudly notes her exemplary record of service and contributions in keeping with the highest ideals of this esteemed organization; offers best wishes for the continuation of her many worthwhile and beneficial endeavors.”

Sichel was installed as president of the American Association of School Administrators for the 2013-14 year at a ceremony in July.
