Four Seasons Diner Restaurant & Bakery

Tonight wifie and I decided to take a ride to the Four Seasons Diner on Bustleton Avenue in Philadelphia. We have been to the other location on Cottman Avenue a couple of times but never went to the newer location since they opened. Not bad, not bad!!!! Mary Ann chose the mini-seafood combination (shrimp, scallops, and crab meat) served with two vegetables, cup of soup, salad bar and dessert. She was very happy and loved the italian wedding soup. The super fresh cheese and cinnamon bread was a nice added touch. I chose to go the appetizer and burger route. Too much food and big eyes!!!!! I had the chicken quesidilla (Grilled flour tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken, Jack and cheddar cheeses and diced tomatoes). Served with sides of sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. It was very good and a more than generous portion. Big eyes also ordered a "Alpine burger" (8 oz. burger with melted Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce and tomato) served with fries "no I didn't eat them" and a cup of soup. I chose the matzoh ball soup which was surprisingly very good. The restaurant was very clean, nice ambiance except it's a bit loud, and a BYOB. Our server Veronica was very kind and a pleasure. Worth the trip on a beautiful day like today. I am making it sound like it's on the other side of the world. It was only 30 minutes away. lol
