- Jeffrey James Steigelmann III, 20, of Big Road, Zieglerville, was arrested Feb. 6 at 1:01 a.m. following a traffic stop near the corner of Easton Road and Oakdale Avenue for having heavily tinted glass on his Volkswagen, police said. According to police, there was a strong odor of burnt and raw marijuana coming from the vehicle and there were several cigar roaches in the ashtray. Steigelmann said he had several grams of marijuana in the car; there was a black backpack in the back seat that had three sandwich bags of confirmed marijuana and there were also two bags of confirmed week in the cup holder, police said.
- Sean Morgan, 25, of Acorn Lane, Abington, was arrested Feb. 5 at 4:49 p.m. following a traffic stop for having an expired registration sticker near the corner of Easton Road and Weldon Avenue, police said. According to police, there was an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and Morgan had glassy and bloodshot eyes. He was also concealing a plastic bag of confirmed marijuana in the vehicle’s door card, police said.
- Rachael Lee Hannon, 24, of Roosevelt Boulevard, Philadelphia, was arrested Jan. 30 at 1:20 a.m. following a traffic stop near the corner of Old York and Baeder roads for having a malfunctioning brake light and an expired registration tag, police said. According to police, Hannon had bloodshot, glassy and red eyes and was visibly shaking. There were several cigar remnants strewn throughout the car and there were split cigars on the passenger seat and the driver’s side floor, police said. Police said they found a bag of confirmed marijuana in the ceiling fabric of Hannon’s vehicle, in front of the sunroof.
- Chapell McDonald, 25, of Cherry Street, Willow Grove, was arrested Jan. 30 at 5:45 p.m. following a traffic stop for having a malfunctioning brake light near the corner of Easton and Old Welsh roads, police said. According to police, there was a strong odor of both burnt and raw marijuana emanating from the vehicle. McDonald said, “Aw man. I got a blunt,” and then handed police a hand-rolled cigar containing confirmed marijuana, police said. During a search, police found an orange pill bottle in the center console that contained a clear, knotted plastic bag containing 20 confirmed oxycodone pills, police said. McDonald does not have a prescription for the pills, according to police.
