Strong-Arm Robbery at Willow Grove Park Mall

Abington Police are looking for a man who robbed a 66-year-old woman outside of Macy's at Willow Grove Park mall on Monday night.

According to police, a man knocked the woman to the ground and stole the woman's pocketbook as she exited Macy's at the second-level parking lot at about 8 p.m.; the man came up behind the woman and knocked her to the ground, causing injuries to the woman's nose, mouth, teeth and hands. 

The woman was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Shortly after the robbery, a man wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt used one of the victim's credit cards at the Wawa on Moreland road; he arrived as a passenger in a maroon sedan, police said.
