Police Reports: Two DUI Arrests

Abington Police arrested the following people for suspected DUI.

 

Graham Sebastien Skelly, 19, of Blake Avenue, Rockledge, was arrested Feb. 3 at 5:31 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 500 block of Susquehanna Road, police said. According to police, Skelly said he was lost and was looking for Huntingdon Pike.

Skelly was lethargic and slow to respond, and there was a very strong odor of air freshener in the car, police said. Skelly admitted to smoking marijuana earlier at a friend’s house; Sklley failed several field sobriety tests, had a blood alcohol content of 0.102 percent and his blood tested positive for the presence of marijuana, police said. Skelly was also charged with driving with a suspended license and careless driving.

Jeffrey Scott Biel, 54, of Union Meeting Road, Blue Bell, was arrested Feb. 1 at 9:26 p.m. following a traffic stop for making an illegal right turn at the corner of Mount Carmel Avenue and Limekiln Pike, police said. According to police Biel said he was coming from Oreland, added that he had one beer earlier and then said he had two beers. Biel had glassy and bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol police said. He failed several field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of 0.193 percent, police said.
