North Hills Resident Arrested for Failure to Appear in Court

He had active warrant from Lansdale Police Department.

An Upper Dublin Police officer witnessed a 1997 Toyota Avalon stopped in the middle of the roadway at the intersection of Summit and Linden avenues on Thursday shortly after 11 a.m., according to reports.

The man behind the wheel was identified as Nathaniel Bootman, 40, of the 3100 block of North Hills Avenue, who had an active bench warrant for failure to appear for a DUI stemming from a Lansdale Police Department case from July 2, police said.

The officer detained Bootman pending confirmation of the warrant and he was taken into custody a short time late. Bootman was later released to the custody of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.

Bootman has a lengthy criminal history including arrests on drug and attempted burglary charges.
