A Philadelphia man was arrested late last month after he caused an incident in Willow Grove Park mall and was found to have a gun in his waistband.
Aleksey Borisov, 24, of Comly Street, was arrested Dec. 20 shortly after 9 p.m. following a disturbance on the third level of the mall.
According to police, a Willow Grove Park mall security guard said he saw Borisov and two other men spit in a public area on mall property and were told to stop. Upon the request to stop, Borisov said several explicit things about the security guard’s mother, and then threatened to physically harm the guard.
As police took Borisov into custody, they found a black, semi-automatic Smith and Wesson M&P Pro Series in his waistband. According to police, the gun was loaded with 15 .40-cal. rounds.
Borisov does not have a license to carry a concealed firearm; he is now out on bond.
