Jenkintown Man Carries Loaded Gun, Drugs in Glenside, Police Say

The man was arrested on Jenkintown Road.

Abington Police arrested a man in Glenside following a pedestrian stop near the corner of Jenkintown and Briarwood roads; the defendant looked like a burglary suspect, according to police.

Brandon Todd Wilson, 20, of West Avenue, Jenkintown, was arrested Feb. 7 just after midnight after he was seen walking east on Jenkintown Road. According to police, Wilson appeared nervous, kept looking away and kept moving his body every time police moved toward his left side.

Following a pat down, police said they found a gun in Wilson’s left jacket pocket — an H&R Model 999 Sportsman .22LR nine-shot revolver; it was loaded with eight .22-cal. LR Remington rounds, police said.
