DUI Charges Pending Against Glenside Man in Whitpain Crash

Kevin Burns, 35, of Huber Street, Glenside, allegedly rear-ended a Jeep at Penllyn and Skippack pikes.

A Glenside man is facing charges in connection with an alleged crash late last month in Whitpain.

According to Whitpain Township Police, Kevin Burns, 35, of Huber Street, crashed into the back of a red Jeep stopped at a red light near at the corner of Penllyn and Skippack pikes. The alleged incident happened Dec. 27 at about 8:45 p.m.

Burns was driving a blue Ford, police said.

During the investigation, Burns was allegedly intoxicated and was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital for a blood test to determine BAC, police said. Police also located a small amount of marijuana in Burns' car, police said.
