Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness, Top Summary Arrests

Abington police handed out summary arrests to the following people.

Public drunkenness

Joshua Burkey, 25, of Eckard Avenue, Abington, was issued a non-traffic citation March 8 at 3:39 a.m. after police saw Burkey stumbling while walking along Huntingdon Road near Woodland Road, police said.

Emmanuel Alabi, 30, of Meadowbrook Drive, Huntingdon Valley, was arrested March 3 at 2:58 a.m. after police saw Alabi leaning into the back seat of his vehicle, which was parked on the shoulder of the 1900 block of Huntingdon Pike, police said. According to police, Alabi was under the influence of alcohol.

Disorderly conduct

Myles Keller, 28, of Monument Avenue, Hatboro, was arrested March 7 at 11:12 p.m. following a traffic stop near the corner of Susquehanna Road and Johnson Avenue after police found a small amount of marijuana and a pipe in the vehicle, police said.

Charmaine Waddell, 19, of Country Club Road, was issued a non-traffic citation March 7 at 7:55 p.m. after a JC Penney loss prevention officer saw Waddell conceal $149 worth of store merchandise in her purse and leave the store without paying, police said.

Deron Carew, 18, of Houston Avenue, Glenside, was arrested March 3 at 1:38 p.m. following a pedestrian stop after a call was made about people looking into parked cars near the corner of Sylvania and Roberts avenues, police said. According to police, Carew admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in his possession, police said.
