Someone passed two counterfeit $20 bills at Nave Yogurt at the Maple Glen Shopping Center, in the 1900 block of Norristown Road, last week, police said.
According to police, someone used the bills to make less-than-$3 purchase at the store on Sept. 6 shortly before 5 p.m. The storeowner said the bills “felt different than usual.”
A similar incident happened at the nearby MG Gift Card Shop. According to police, on the same day, minutes from the Nave Yogurt incident, someone used three counterfeit $20 bills to make a purchase at the shop.
