Coke Dealer Gets Time

The Cheltenham man pleaded guilty to selling drugs on Mt. Carmel Avenue last year.


A Cheltenham man was sentenced to county time after he pleaded guilty to selling cocaine to a man outside a bar in the 2600 block of Mt. Carmel Avenue in February 2012.

Cheo Morales, 32, of the 600 block of Brooke Road, was sentenced to nine to 23 months’ time and three years’ probation after pleading guilty to drug charges after being arrested in Abington last year, according to a Phillyburbs.com story.

According to the story, Morales met a man at the bar and sold him cocaine; during the incident, police saw Morales drop a container with three small bags of cocaine. Morales was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver

According to court documents, Morales was also arrested for possession with intent to deliver in February 2001; September 2002 and August 2002.

His sentence begins Oct. 7.
