Armed Bank Robbery in Rockledge
A man armed with a gun robbed a Wells Fargo Bank Wednesday morning, police say.
Rockledge Police and the FBI are looking for a man they say robbed a bank at gunpoint on Wednesday.
According to police, a masked man walked into the Wells Fargo bank at 620 Huntingdon Pike at about 10:20 a.m. and announced a robbery. The man demanded that both bank employees, as well as the customers, put their hands up. He then walked up to the teller line and demanded cash while pointing a gun at the tellers.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled on foot to the rear of the building, and climbed over a fence between the bank and Breen’s Tavern — the man was last seen heading west through the yards.
