The amount of cocaine recovered, the manner in which it was packaged, and the presence of four cell phones, is consistent with possession with intent to deliver, police said.

Brown has a lengthy criminal history. According to court documents, he was arrested in August 2011 in Philadelphia for possession with intent to deliver — a trial is set for March 27.

He was also arrested in Philadelphia for possession with intent to deliver in June 2005 and pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to eight to 18 months. And Brown was also arrested in February 2006, again in Montgomery County, for possession with intent to deliver. He was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in jail and three years’ probation.

Brown's preliminary hearing for the January arrest is scheduled for April 5 at 1:30 p.m. in front of District Justict Juanita Price.
