Abington Teen Crashes in Skippack While Drunk, PSP Say
The Abington woman allegedly crashed into an embankment at Skippack Pike and Cross Road.
A 19-year-old Abington woman was charged with DUI after allegedly crashing near the corner of Skippack Pike and Cross Road.
According to police, Angela L. Bender, of the Willow Grove section of Abington, was traveling through the intersection of Skippack Pike and Cross Road on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 2:40 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle and struck an embankment.
During the investigation, police say Bender, 19, showed signs of intoxication.

Bender was charged with DUI and DUI as a minor, as well as careless driving, driving at an unsafe speed, and failure to immediately notify police of an accident including damage to the vehicle.
According to court documents, this is Bender's first DUI and she does not appear to have a criminal history.
