Abington Police Reports — Summary Arrests

If you're going to steal an MP3 player ...

 

Retail theft and disorderly conduct … Tara Swanson, 27, of Somerset Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Jan. 27 at 8:27 p.m. at Sears in Willow Grove Park mall after Sears security saw Swanson conceal a $40 MP3 player and attempt to leave without paying, police said. According to police, Swanson struggled with security and was uncooperative with police.

Public drunkenness and disorderly conduct … Matthew Cohen, 21, of Placid Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Jan. 29 at 3:47 a.m. after neighbors complained that three men were being too loud in the corner of Jenkintown Road and Central Avenue, police said. According to police, Cohen was uncooperative with police, yelled expletives at police, ran into the house and resisted arrest. He was highly intoxicated.

Public drunkenness … Lucas Weaver, 26, of Guernsey Avenue, Abington, was arrested Jan. 31 at 7:20 a.m. following a call to the 2000 block of Guernsey Avenue in which police found Weaver intoxicated and ransacking the house, police said.

Public drunkenness … Sean Munnelly, 49, of Mount Carmel Avenue, Glenside, was arrested Feb. 4 at 1:50 a.m. after police saw Munnelly stumbling as he walked along Mount Carmel Avenue; Munnelly nearly fell over several times, police said

Disorderly conduct … Ryan Edwards, 22, of Arbor Road, Cheltenham; and Ryan Archie, 23, of Brous Avenue, Philadelphia, were arrested Feb. 4 at 2:48 a.m. following a traffic stop in the corner of Susquehanna and Arbuta roads in which police found a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle, police said.

Disorderly conduct … Thomas Lomax III, 21, of Woolston Avenue, Philadelphia; and Corey Bryant Jr., 19, of Yelland Street, Philadelphia, were issued non-traffic citations Feb. 5 at 9:14 p.m. after Willow Grove Park mall security saw them smoking marijuana outside TGI Fridays, police said.

Public drunkenness … Michael Trudel Jr., 24, of Runningbrook Road, North Wales, was arrested Feb. 9 at 12:52 a.m. following a disturbance at Plush on Keswick Avenue, police said. According to police, Trudel was standing in front of the bar, highly intoxicated, unruly and shouting profanities at a bar patron.
