Summary arrests

 

Disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, harassment and criminal mischief … Chakeia Amir, 33, of Station Avenue, Glenside, was arrested Sept. 23 at 9:57 p.m. following a disturbance call in which the complainant said Amir threw a high heel shoe, hitting the complainant in the head as the complainant attempted to leave, police said. According to police, Amir also ripped the windshield wiper blades off of the complainant’s vehicle. Police found Amir to be intoxicated, yelling and screaming obscene language, which disturbed neighbors.

Disorderly conduct … Terence Wilson, 23, of Prospect Avenue, Willow Grove, was arrested Sept. 22 at 11:44 p.m. following a traffic stop in the corner of Heston Street and Easton Road in which police found a small amount of marijuana in Wilson’s vehicle, police said.

Retail theft … Sommer Johnson, 37, of Highland Avenue, Abington, was arrested Sept. 22 at 5:36 p.m. after Giant Food employees in the 2300 block of Susquehanna Road saw Johnson select $90 worth of merchandise, place the items in a cloth bag and leave the store without paying for the items, police said.

Public drunkenness … James Smart, 22, of Maple Avenue, Willow Grove, was arrested Sept. 22 at 1:46 a.m. following a domestic dispute call in the 2900 block of Anzac Avenue, police said. Smart was intoxicated and attempted to punch his uncle.

Disorderly conduct … Arnold Bomze, 73, of Gilham Street, Philadelphia, was issued a non-traffic citation Sept. 20 at 8:08 p.m. after Wendy’s employees in the 700 block of Huntingdon Pike reported that Bomze had intentionally spilled a drink all over the counter of the restaurant, police said.

Retail theft … Tyrone Whitmore, 25, of North 16th Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Sept. 20 at 2:03 p.m. after Bloomingdale’s security saw Whitmore take $149 worth of merchandise and put it in a nylon bag and leave the store without attempting to pay, police said.

Public drunkenness ... Joseph Lupan, 60, of Runner Street, Jenkintown, was arrested Sept. 20 at 12:04 p.m. after witnesses called police after they found Lupan lying along Shelmire Avenue at Peachtree Drive, police said. According to police, Lupan was extremely intoxicated and was taken to the hospital.

Harassment ... Paul Smith, 43, of North Hills Avenue, Glenside, was issued a non-traffic citation on Sept. 17 at 8:29 p.m. for his involvement in a family dispute in the 100 block of Ruscombe Avenue, police said.

Disorderly conduct ... Jude Bruno, 20, of Tyson Avenue, Roslyn, was arrested Sept. 14 at 2:51 a.m. following a pedestrian stop near the corner of Easton Road and Florey Lane after police found a small amount of marijuana in his possession, police said.

Disorderly conduct ... David Brill, 25, of Oakmont Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Sept. 8 at 1:24 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Susquehanna Road in which police found a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle, police said.

Retail theft ... Stephanie Montgomery, 40, of Oriole Street, Philadelphia, was issued a non-traffic citation Sept. 6 at 8:51 p.m. after Macy's security found $54 worth of store merchandise in Montgomery's handbag, police said.
