Burglary and criminal trespass …  An arrest warrant was issued Aug. 13 for Patricia Higgins, 26, of Summit Avenue, Jenkintown, after she stole $500 from Jerzee’s bar in the 2600 block of Mount Carmel Avenue on July 29, police said. According to police, the general manager of Jerzee’s said he saw that the money was missing from a safe on July 31. There was no sign of forced entry to the bar or to the safe.

Video surveillance shows that on July 29 at about 5 a.m. Higgins, a former employee, knocked on the front door of the bar to get the attention of an employee who was cleaning. Higgins spoke with the employee, went behind the bar — where the office and safe keys are located — and then went to the office and came out a few minutes later, police said. According to police, Higgins said she entered the office to retrieve a cell phone and charger. She said to the employee, “[The GM] is gonna fire me anyway. I’m outta here.”

The general manager of the bar said that at the time of the burglary Higgins had already been fired and no cell phone or charger was left behind.

Retail theft … Ilona Kredens, 23, of Solly Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested Aug. 6 at 7:28 p.m. in Macy’s after she selected 14 pairs of women’s underwear –  worth a total of $200 – concealed them while in a fitting room, and left without attempting to pay, police said. According to police, Kredens put some of the underwear in a black purse … and was wearing the rest.

Retail theft and possession of an instrument of crime … Ashley Gina Kim, 19, of Twining Road, Willow Grove, was arrested Aug. 6 at 3 p.m. at Macy’s after she concealed $314 worth of merchandise and left without attempting to pay, police said. Kim was stopped by Macy’s security. According to police, Kim removed the anti-theft sensors by using a magnetic metal sensor remover.

Retail theft … Susan Ann DiGiulio, 60, of Moreland Road, Huntingdon Valley, was arrested Aug. 5 at 4:45 p.m. after she concealed $312 worth of merchandise from Giant on Huntingdon Pike in a black canvass bag and left without paying for the merchandise, police said. She did pay for other items that were in her cart.

Possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana … Jacob Matthew Sosinavage, 22, of Vista Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Aug. 2 at 9 p.m. following a pedestrian stop near the area of Easton and Mount Vernon roads, police said. According to police, Sosinavage looked intoxicated, had a blank stare and was walking with a staggered gait — and kept touching his right pants pocket. Sosinavage had a marijuana pipe and a small bag of suspected marijuana in his pocket and admitted to recently smoking marijuana, police said.

False ID to law enforcement officials and driving with a suspended license … Preston Wade Minnick, 47, of Church Street, Norristown, was arrested Aug. 2 at 6:52 p.m. in the 300 block of North Hills Avenue following a traffic stop for not using a turn signal, police said. According to police, Minnick said he had no ID with him because his license was suspended. Minnick then said his name was John Minnick and gave his actual date of birth. His girlfriend then identified him as Preston.

DUI and careless driving … Joseph Harrigan, 34, of Mohawk Drive, Richboro, was arrested July 18 at 7:43 p.m. following a traffic stop near the corner of Easton Road and Waverly Avenue after he was seen driving a silver Lexus southbound on Easton Road with what appeared to be fresh damage to the front bumper and headlight, police said. He was also swerving over the double-yellow line. According to police, Harrigan said he was involved in a crash a few minutes earlier as he was leaving a bar. He said he did not feel safe, so he left the area and was about to contact police. Harrigan had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol content of 0.139 percent, police said.

DUI and careless driving … Angela DiPalo, 22, of Round Meadow Lane, Hatboro, was arrested July 12 at 12:23 a.m. following a traffic stop for swerving over the double- yellow line twice as she drove northbound on Huntingdon Pike, police said. She then made an abrupt turn on to Harpers Lane. According to police, when asked if she was OK, DiPalo said, “No, I can’t drive right now, I’m a little drunk. But I called my mom to come get me.” DiPalo smelled of alcohol, had glassy and bloodshot eyes and her speech was slurred. She was unsteady on her feet, failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol content of 0.177 percent, police said.

Possession of a small amount of marijuana … Nicholas Joseph Conti III, 22, of Anthony Road, Elkins Park, was arrested July 7 at 12:25 a.m. at a DUI checkpoint in the 700 block of Huntingdon Pike, police said. According to police, there was an odor of marijuana in his vehicle. Conti admitted that he had some marijuana near the driver’s seat. Police recovered two small bags of confirmed marijuana.

DUI and careless driving … Larissa Danyell Gibson, 27, of South Napa Street, Philadelphia, was arrested June 30 at 12:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Old York Road following a traffic stop for swerving; she also came close to hitting the curb several times as she drove southbound on Old York Road, police said. According to police, Gibson smelled of alcohol and her car smelled of marijuana. Gibson failed a field sobriety test and her blood tested positive for the presence of marijuana. Her blood alcohol content was 0.129 percent, police said.
