Summary arrests

 

Harassment … Geanie Chapalas, 71, of Township Line Road, Jenkintown, was issued a non-traffic citation Sept. 19 at 6:31 p.m. after continually sending letters, making comments and accusing complainants of being anti-Semites, police said.

Retail theft … Tamara Talley-Benson, 43, of Eagle Road, Abington, was arrested Sept. 16 at 10:45 a.m. at K-mart after a security guard saw Talley-Benson conceal $60 worth of merchandise in a bag and leave without paying, police said.

Criminal mischief and public drunkenness … Scott Hinman, 34, of Rosemore Avenue, Glenside, was arrested Sept. 16 at 12:27 a.m. after police responded to a disturbance call at the Rosemore Garden apartments and found that Hinman had thrown a rock through the complainant’s window, police said.

Public drunkenness … Ronald Marks, 51, of Serpentine Lane, Wyncote, was arrested Sept. 15 at 8:59 p.m. after Upper Dublin police responded to the 200 block of North Hills Avenue and saw Marks laying on the sidewalk, intoxicated, police said.

Underage drinking … Nicholas Ferry, 20, of Keswick Road, Philadelphia; and Mark Leonard, 19, of Ditman Street, Philadelphia, were issued non-traffic citations Sept. 15 at 4:05 a.m. after police saw both of them sleeping in a car parked in the Manor College parking lot, police said.

Public drunkenness … Stephen Carlson, 42, of Jackson Avenue, Ardsley, was arrested Sept. 10 at 5:23 p.m. after police responded to a domestic dispute call in the 1100 block of Easton Road and found Carlson intoxicated, police said. According to police, Carlson was arguing with his girlfriend as she was trying to get Carlson into a taxi to go home.

Harassment … Paige Adams, 24, of North Penn Street, Hatboro, was issued a non-traffic citation Sept. 8 at 8:18 p.m. after the complainant reported that Adams ran up to her and threatened her with bodily harm while she was in a house in the 2300 block of Edwards Road, police said. According to police, the complainant made a statement about the living conditions in the home.

Disorderly conduct … David Brill, 25, of Oakmont, Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Sept. 8 at 8:18 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Susquehanna Road in which police found a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle, police said.

Retail theft … Stephanie Kolsky, 29, of Shalimer Court, Bensalem, was issued a non-traffic citation Sept. 7 at 3:50 p.m. after K-mart security saw Kolsky put $82 worth of merchandise in her purse and leave without paying, police said.
