Simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment … Jonathan C. Gomez, 26, of Glenloch Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Oct. 15 at 11:27 a.m. following an incident at Sarah Care, an adult day care facility in the 100 block of Washington Lane, in which Gomez punched an employee in the face, police said. According to police, the complainant was transporting clients to the facility in a van and Gomez — a bus driver for First Transit — told him to move the van or he would ram the bus into it.
Gomez then exited the bus and said he would “beat the [expletive] out of [the complainant]" and then punched the complainant in the face at least two times with a closed fist. Staff from Sarah Care came out to stop the incident, and Gomez shoved one of those employees. Gomez then said he would come back because he “knew where they worked.”
Terroristic threats … An arrest warrant was issued Oct. 15 for Matthew Thomas Trasser, 26, of Tennis Avenue, Ardsley, after he sent threatening text messages to the complainant between Aug. 6 and Oct. 11, police said. One of the messages read, “I know what you look like; you don’t know what I look like so watch out — you’re not going to see it coming.”
Theft … Holly Ann Salvadori, 31, of Elden Drive, Wilmington, Del., was arrested Oct. 10 after she made three fraudulent “returns” at JC Penney in Willow Grove Park mall, police said. According to police, Salvadori selected merchandise from the floor and attempted to return it without a receipt. Salvadori made transactions at 7:07, 7:13 and 7:56 p.m. The total amount of merchandise returned was $823, issued on JCPenney gift cards.
DUI, careless driving and possession of a small amount of marijuana … Gilbert E. Bowen, 60, of Robinson Avenue, Willow Grove, was arrested Sept. 27 at 2:14 a.m. following a traffic stop after he was seen swerving over the double yellow lines and tapping his brakes repeatedly near the corner of Easton Road and Patane Avenue, police said. According to police, Bowen smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. There was a partially burnt marijuana roach sitting on a soda can in the cup holder; there were also two plastic jars containing marijuana, police said. Bowen’s blood alcohol content was 0.067 percent and his blood tested positive for the presence of marijuana.
Possession of a controlled substance … Joseph Amons, 44, of Woodland Road, Willow Grove; and Leo C. LeFevre III, 40, of Anna Road, Huntingdon Valley, were arrested Sept. 29 at 9:12 p.m. after they were seen parked in a silver Honda Civic in the McKinley Tavern parking lot, police said. According to police, Amons was seen placing a Ziploc bag containing confirmed cocaine under the passenger seat. Police also found a cloth pouch in the glove box, which contained a passport and a bag of suspected cocaine. LeFevre had a glass pipe with marijuana residue and several prescription pills.
