Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia … Kenneth Crizden Shea, 25, of Tennis Avenue, Glenside, was arrested Nov. 2 at 8:31 a.m. for stealing $21 worth of merchandise from Rite Aid in the 1300 block of Easton Road, police said. According to police, Shea was on probation and had a metal pipe in his possession. Shea has one prior conviction for retail theft.

DUI … Marvin Gus Jennings, 47, of Lindley Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested Oct. 21 at 2:05 a.m. near the corner of Jenkintown and Edge Hill Road following a traffic stop for driving with a malfunctioning brake light, police said. According to police, Jennings smelled strongly of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and failed a field sobriety test. His blood alcohol content was 0.126 percent.

Theft … Trevor Christian Baelz, 19, of Cherry Street, Willow Grove, was arrested Oct. 25 at 3:20 p.m. after he was seen taking $44 from the cash register at Sears on closed-circuit TV, and used it to buy lunch, police said. Baelz, a Sears employee, returned the remaining amount.

DUI and careless driving … Zachary J. Baker, 25, of Carroll Avenue, Glenside, was arrested Oct. 18 at 7:04 a.m. near the corner of Meetinghouse and Mill Road after he crashed into a utility pole, police said. According to police, Baker was standing in front of his vehicle when they arrived; he was bleeding heavily from his head because of the impact with the windshield. Baker said, “I really don’t know, I’ve had a lot of concussions.” Baker smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot and glassy eyes and had a blood alcohol content of 0.25 percent. The utility pole, which was not in service, broke at the base due to the damage, police said.

Suspicion of DUI … Christian Richard Schill, 18, of Oreland Mill Road, Oreland, was arrested Oct. 15 at 3:33 a.m. following a traffic stop for a disabled vehicle near the corner of Township Line Road and Washington Lane, police said. According to police, Schill’s vehicle had a flat tire. He attempted to change the tire, but realized that he had no jack … so he called the police for assistance. The passenger compartment of the disabled 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo smelled like alcohol. Schill failed a field sobriety test, had a blood alcohol content of 0.073 percent and his blood tested positive for the presence of marijuana, police said.

DUI and careless driving … Yvonne Reynolds, 57, of Rexford Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Oct. 14 at 12:50 a.m. near the corner of Old York and London roads following a traffic stop for swerving and for following too closely and for almost striking the median, police said. According to police, Reynolds smelled very strongly of perfume, but she still smelled like alcohol. Reynolds failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol content of 0.158 percent.

DUI … Jamie Rowland, 27, of Hi-View Drive, Southampton, was arrested Oct. 6 at 2:45 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Welsh Road, police said. According to police, Rowland said she had two beers, then said, “I had three beers,” and later said, “I had four beers; they were pumpkin.” Rowland had a blood alcohol content of 0.128 percent.
