PFA violation … Corey Taylor Williams, 27, of North 13th Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Aug. 16 at 12:19 a.m. following a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Rubicam Street, police said.

Retail theft … Lamont Walthour, 45, of North 20th Street, Philadelphia, was arrested Aug. 11 at 12:39 a.m. near Kmart, police said. According to police, Walthour selected several pieces of merchandise, put them in a backpack and left without attempting to pay. Walthour admitted to stealing $135 worth of merchandise, police said.

Theft from motor vehicle and disorderly conduct  … Melissa A. Shannon, 33, of Mount Carmel Avenue, Glenside, was arrested Aug. 9 at 10:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of Mount Carmel Avenue after a witness said he saw a woman pulling on the handles of several parked vehicles, police said. According to police, Shannon said she was “playing with her dog” in the parking lot.

DUI and reckless driving … Douglas Murphy, 47, of Candlewood Mountain Road, New Millford, Conn., was arrested Aug. 8 at 9:55 p.m. near the corner of Old York Road and the Pavilion following a report of a reckless driver, police said. According to police, the complainant said Murphy was driving erratically on northbound Old York Road and almost struck the complainant’s vehicle as he attempted to pass. Murphy then stopped in the middle of Old York Road, approached the complainant’s vehicle and said, “I’m sorry.” When police arrived, Murphy told them that he was having family problems. He failed a field sobriety test and refused a blood test and a portable breath test.

Summary arrests …

Disorderly conduct … Kevin Kelly, 23, of Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, was arrested Aug. 17 at 5:25 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Old York Road in which Kelly was found to have a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle, police said.

Disorderly conduct … Quenton Cain, 22, of Arnold Avenue, Roslyn, was arrested Aug. 14 at 9:23 p.m. after police saw Cain in a vehicle parked at Crestmont Park. Cain had a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle, police said.

Retail theft … Zachary Panebianco, 20, of Knock N Knoll Circle, Willow Grove; and Stephane Bernard, 23, of South 59th Street, Philadelphia, were arrested Aug. 12 at 4:42 p.m. after both concealed several cans of spray paint while in Kmart, police said. According to police, Panebianco and Bernard concealed $77 worth of paint and attempted to leave the store without paying.
