Abington Man Charged with Burglary in New Jersey

An Abington man along with a man from Haverford stole about $45K in merchandise from a Delran, N.J. RadioShack, police say.

Police in New Jersey arrested two Pennsylvania men after they allegedly broke into a RadioShack on Wednesday by using saws, pry bars and a sledgehammer to cut through the store’s wall from a neighboring, vacant store, according to a story in the Bucks County Courier Times.

Sean D. Taylor, 37, of Abington; and Rodney C. Davis, 32, of Haverford, were arrested shortly after 11 p.m. at the RadioShack at Fairview Boulevard after they stole about $45,000 in merchandise, police said.

According to police, Taylor and Davis placed the stolen merchandise in five trash bags to be picked up by an accomplice, the story said.

Taylor and Davis were charged with burglary, theft and possession of a police scanner for use in a suspected crime, according to the story.

Both were taken to Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly on $100,000 bail. Police are investigating whether the two men are involved in any other burglaries.
