The Polls in Ward 10- BEWARE

I have to say that this was a first for me.  My husband and I approached the outside of the voting site in Ward 10 and was greeted by a Jamie Maerz representative...  he asked if I was voting for her and I politely said "I am sorry, but no I am not." Moved on to meet several others (including Jon Fox) and had very pleasant greetings.  Went inside and proudly casted my votes (YES, one of them was for Tom Hecker).  As we walked outside and as everyone else said goodnight and thanks for coming out to vote... the Jamie Maerz representative stated loudly and sarcastically "I'm glad you voted for an honest person."  My husband and I were a taken back by the rude comment and really wanted to say something back but didn't.  I won't debate politics, but I will debate respect... I never personally met Jamie, but there were several soliciting mailings stuck in our door over the past several weeks and a sign placed on our front lawn without our permission.  Jamie's campaigners failed to see the "no solicitation" stickers on our front gate of our porch and the "Abington Township no solicitation sticker on our front door.  I'm sure that Jamie did not have anything to do with those mailings and signs, and hopefully sure that she  didn't know about her campaigners stating sarcastic comments to people as they exited the polls.  Campaigning is not an easy thing to do, but nobody likes a dirty campaign.  It's just not professional.  Good luck to all candidates tonight!!!
