Glenside fields?

        I am relatively new to Glenside and have children that play sports here. I can't figure out why our fields here are so bad. I grew up in Philadelphia and our fields were much better. It is sad to see my son excited for away games because it is easier to play baseball when you don't have to worry about the ball hitting a bump and breaking your nose. 
        Is Glenside that broke that we can't give the children here even one decent field. We don't need the fancy dugouts that ALL the other teams have, just something safe. Could someone explain why Glenside is like this? I have a brother that lives in Ardsley and their fields are much better.
