Richard Stewart Harkins, of Rydal
Harkins was an attorney; his funeral service was Saturday
Richard Stewart Harkins, of Rydal Park, died Wednesday, Jan. 8. He was 85.
He was the son of the late William D. and Edna S. (Gallagher) Harkins.
Prior to his retirement, he was a partner of the law firm Harkins and Harkins.

Harkins is survived by his nephews, Todd Richard Harvey and Robb Stewart Harvey; and by his niece, Kim Harkins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William D. Harkins, and a sister, Joyce H. Harvey.

A funeral service was held Saturday at St. Mark’s Reformed Episcopal Church; interment was private in Arlington Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Helweg and Rowland Funeral Home.
