Obituary: Anthony P. Petrucci of Abington

Anthony P. Petrucci, of Abington, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 86. He was the husband of the late Carolyn McCoy Petrucci.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Romeo and Mary Vesci Petrucci. He was the father of Anthony Petrucci (Maureen) of Abington, Carolyn Carcione (Robert) of Warminster and Guy Petrucci Sr. of Willow Grove; brother of Augustine Petrucci of Florida and Catherine Gaeta of Horsham. He was the grandfather of Anthony, Ryan, Alexis, Maggie, Robert, Kristin, Jaci, Sheri, Guy Jr. and Danielle, and great grandfather of 5.

Petrucci was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and served during World War II. He was employed as a tree surgeon for 57 years, retiring from Asplundh Co.

A funeral Mass will be held Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Abington; friends will be received after 9 a.m.

Interment will be held at St. John Neumann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Abington Hospice, 2510 Maryland Road, Suite 250, Willow Grove, Pa. 19090 in Mr. Petrucci’s memory.
